Soil Mates & Fungi Friends explores the hidden life beneath our feet, focusing on leaf litter critters, fungi and the vital relationships that keep ecosystems healthy. Participants investigate soil to discover insects, fungi and microorganisms and learn about the significant roles they play in our environment. This workshop uses science and technology to explore a miniature world, while also fostering creativity by inviting participants to sketch and their observations.
Participants will learn about fungi identification and have the opportunity to make and decorate their own fungi friends with quick dry clay.
